At Ava Medspa, we use neuromodulators to treat aesthetic and wellness concerns. The neuromodulators we use at Ava Medspa are Botox, Nuceiva and Dysport. These are three commercial names for Botulinum Toxin.
Botulinum Toxin works by blocking certain chemical signals from the nerve. This in turn temporarily relaxes the muscles for your desired result. We can use Botox/Dysport/Nuceiva to improve the look of crow’s feet, gummy smile, forehead wrinkles, low eyebrows, bulky jaw and much more.

Forehead
Forehead lines and wrinkles are also known as dynamic wrinkles. They are caused by muscle movement. Using Botox/Xeomin/Dysport we can relax the muscle and get a smoother and younger appearance.

This treatment targets our Masseter muscle. This muscle is also one of the strongest muscles in our body and is responsible for chewing as well as connecting our jaw and cheekbone. Hyperhidrosis
Hyperhidrosis is an excess of sweating that exceeds what is necessary for body temperature regulation. Neuromodulators are able to temporarily inhibit the effect of acetylcholine, which interrupts the hyperactivity of the sweat glands. Botox blocks the messages from the nerves that are telling the sweat glands to produce sweat. We can treat the axillary and plantar areas.
